Books and Reading !

Today as I am writing this blogpost so as to address the importance of reading books.

As we all know, Reading have most powerful impact on our conscience and it triggers us to develop Emotions, perceptions and behaviour which are favourable for our overall well- being.

All successful people have incorporated this habit of 30 minutes reading first thing in the morning and at bed- time. Scientists, Experiments, various Theories just prove this fact further more.

They have always been an integral part of my life since childhood. My mother played huge role in inspiring me and to keep me into the habit of Constant reading whether from newspapers, magazines, comics( Archies - Most Favourite) from academic books or even from Jar bottles and packets.I still vividly remember visiting Libraries and seeking out books of my choice for reading. I know this does sounds like going too far with the habit but that is just me
and my passion towards it.
Those were the lovely times when we were not so habitually Co- dependant on Technology and Internet.

I shall say those were the most amazing days as they hold the most integral part of how my personality is today. I do consider myself as Ambivert as I can be identified with having traits of both introverts and extroverts.
Yet I love to lay back a little and oversee and observe things as they go by, like true Introverts.

It gives me ample time to contemplate within myself and to seek answer to the questions that constantly raise in my mind on daily basis. Nowadays, More than utilising any other application on smartphone, I find myself to be constantly hitting ‘Google’ search tab for everything I need in my life. It definitely has taken over my ease of access as compared to the books.

However, as this pandemic has given ample amount of time to ourselves, I can never overlook the importance of having Books by my side.

They are my best friends and takes me back to my childhood inflicting much Nostalgia. I am thankful to my Mother for keeping this ingrain in myself with my love for books and I shall look forward to do the same with my kids as well.

So, I do suggest everyone to read books whichever they hold their interest the most.
My personal favourite genres include Spiritual Textbooks/Granth- (in Precise and easy Translations), Mindful Positive Books,Comics/ Animations Series,Fantasy Novels.

Stay healthy and Stay Blessed!
